Thanks to Jim @ Com21 for his time in helping me correctly update this section.
Rule of thumb if the name starts with DOX, than its DOCSIS compliant, if it starts with COM, than it works only on Com21's proprietary Network ComControllers. NOTE-The Com21-DOXport 1110/1112/1110XB/1112XB and COMport 1080 Cable modems html interface look the same. Even though the COMports are non DOCSIS and the DOXport are DOCSIS.....Did that make any sense? =)

Cable Modem Notes; I know absolutley nothing about this Cable Modem. What I can tell you is I dont think Com21 made this Modem very long and or maybe something like that. I was unble to find a shred of info on this Modem. I will find some but to be honest I do not think you will ever see this modem....EVER!

Cable Modem Notes; These 2 Cable Modems as you can see cosmetically are almost if not identitcal.
The way to tell the if it is a DOXport 1010 (DOCSIS) is by the MAC id. If the 7th character is a 6 it is a DOCSIS , for example ( 00:a0:73:6x:xx:xx ) then it is a DOCSIS. If not it is a COMport (non-DOCSIS). Pay attention to this it will help you dearly in determining the difference between the two.
