NOTE- If there are any MAC guru's out there that would like to co-author this section with me I could sure use some input/help. Email me and get in touch with me. I have alack of time and...hey NO MAC .
TIPS:Macintosh OSX has a built in ping and trace route feature. If you are having speed or connection issues on a computer running Mac OS 9 or X (10), Just run the included Network Utility program by double clicking its icon. It has a GUI front end so you never need to get your hands dirty in the shell. It's in the Utilities folder, inside the Applications folder, as part of every standard Mac OS 9 and X installation........"Thanks Dave" -(12-22-2001)
If you do access a Shell "DO NOT LOG IN AS ROOT!"
Please visit Tom Branches MAC website for more Macintosh screenshots and resources if you cannot find what your looking for here.
