CPE-Basically means the # of Ethernet MAC id's that the Headend (COM Controller or UBR) has seen on that customers PC since the last time the MAC id's were cleared.

This could be a sign that the customer is running a at home Network. Could also be that the customer has changed either PC's or just the Ethernet Card itself recently.

Clear both MAC id's (Cable Modem & Ethernet MAC id's) and then run the DB check again. If 2 CPE's show up again they are probably running a Network!
